One of the most common questions in Astrology is “What is a Birth or Natal Chart?” Unlike what it sounds like, it isn’t something to do with the process of giving birth… it is however a snapshot of exactly what was happening in the universe at the time of your birth.

Creating a Birth or Natal Chart allows me to bring together a combination of factors including your birth date, name, time and location of birth to allow me to work out the positioning or alignment of the sun, moon and planets at the exact time you were born.

From there I can calculate the various angles and positions of each element in relation to one another at your time of birth and these points provide me with the insights into your astrology.  Where an exact time of birth is not known, a reading can still be completed however there will be some factors that are not as accurately deciphered based on the variance of times of birth within each day and therefore the positioning of all components at any given time.

Your birth chart allows me to delve into the various aspects of astrology that are determined by the positions of the sun, moon and planets at the time of your birth and are ruled by the various star signs. Each factor is determined by it’s relevance to another so that your reading is specific to you not simply a generic star sign reading.
